Many new players wonder what kind of character they should take:
Soul hermit, Wind hermit, Water hermit or Earth hermit?
Before explaining what advantages and disadvantages each hermit has, one thing should be clear:
There is no „best choice“ or „overall best character“, the kind of hermit relates to the way you like to play.

The Soul hermit:
General Information:
Soul hermits are the most used chars in whole GTH. While the Knight of Commitent has the mighty Carmic Strike skill and can play hit-and-run with it, Knight of Wanderings more often tank and trust in their general strengh.

Weapon and range: One- or two-handed sword, Melee
Hometown: Cathidia
Awakening possibilites:
Knight of Commitent (KoC, using One-handed sword)
Knight of Wandering (KoW, using Two-handed sword)

KoC – style:
Advantages: Fast attacks with mid-damage, better armor then KoW
Disadvantages: Lower HP then KoW

Stat buildings:*

Generally:
Force: Points here
Agility: Not more then a few here
Soul: No points at all, you get SA by normal lvling up as well, more is NOT needed
Vitality: Points here

Balanced PvP style:
Force: 1/2
Agility: -
Soul: -
Vitality: 1/2

Aggressive PvP sytle:
Force: ¾
Agility: -
Soul: -
Vitality: ¼

Leveling (tanker) style:
Force: ¼
Agility: -
Soul: -
Vitality: ¾


KoW – style:
Advantages: Slower attacks with high damage, able to play the tanker, has WINGZ!
Disadvantages: Worse armor then KoC, slower attacks

Stat buildings:*

Generally
:
Force: Points here
Agility: Not more then a few here
Soul: No points at all, you get SA by normal lvling up as well, more is NOT needed
Vitality: Points here

Force: 1/2

Soul: -
