The game rules have been established by the Administrators/Game Masters and are also controlled by them. Each player is obliged to report any violations, especially when Rule §4 got violated.
The rules listed here are the most up-to-date and so are the valid ones, no matter what other topics or lists say. They are supposed to guarantee a free, fair and comfort playing. Breaking rules may cause an Account ban from a certain period of time up to a complete deletion and ban from the game. Topics or posts will be erased without a comment. However, the responsible GM/Admin has the right to decide how to handle a violation of the rules. In case you should feel treated wrong, send a mail to the support address. The case will then be checked and sorted out. Nevertheless, only mails in Standard english language are accepted, else the responsible Team member is allowed to delete the request without a comment.

§1: Accounts
Every single Account is property of the GTH team and may be changed, edited or deleted in case of a rule violation. There is no warranty that e.g. changes on server site make you keep your Account.
Customers however have the right to reclaim their lost goods they paid for. The billing of the transaction has to be sent with a detailed list of the lost items, if possible with screenshots and the date and time.

Furthermore, tags like [GM], [HP], [Admin] and similiar are reserved for the members of the team. Any violation of this rule causes a renaming and - in case the title should have been abused - a ban

§1.1: Multi- Accounting
It is forbidden to have more then one Account on one IP. If someone is detected using multiple Accounts, the GTH staff has the right to delete the better one. Customers may make use of §1 for reclamation, but there is no guarantee of getting the bought items back due to rule violation.

Should it be however necessary to use the same IP for several Accounts (e.g. family, friends etc.), it is essential to report it right after registering. A proof also has to be made. If a friend should be playing on the same computer with his own Account, it has to be reported before logging in.

§1.2: Bashing
Intentionally bashing other players can result in the banning of an account. Of course, PvP is an important part of the game, but e.g. a Dan continually attacking a single player (without a valid reason) may cause a ban to every single involved player. Screenshots (or other material) is needed to report bashing.

Exception: Dan wars
During a Dan war, rule §1.2 can be ignored. A Dan war may only last up to one week and has to be paused for at least one week after this period. A copy of the declaration of war with starting time and end has to be sent to the Support team. However, you don‘t have to wait for a response after doing so.

§2: Flooding and Spam
Repetitive sending of messages with the same content (exception: trading In-game) or posting topics and/or replies in forums which do not have any use or function but for insulting or provoking people will result in a warning and – when ignoring the warning – in a temporary or permanent ban from chat and/or forums.

§3: Forbidden content
Racist, pornographic, insulting or other discriminating content or real life threats which are sent in private messages, in the forum, or sent in the game or published or posted in written form are prohibited.

§4: Scripting/Use of 3rd person software/hacking
The use of scripts such as auto-refreshing or similar is not permitted, as it increases traffic above the normal rate. Making use of illegal software in order to gain any game advantage or influence the game in any way in any form will cause a permanent ban from the game and website. Hacking and the use of bugs and glitches will be treated like this as well, if not explicitly allowed by a Game moderator or Administrator.

§5: Advertisement
Advertisement in forums and/or game in the form of links to other sites not relating to Gate to Heavens – Twilight, banners, offers (this includes the probably known „1$ for 1 Million Nak“)or any other form are forbidden if not explicitly allowed by the responsible GM.
